Mexican Thanksgiving at Xochitl

POSTED: Monday, November 22, 2010, 5:00 PM
In case you somehow missed our ginormous Thanksgiving guide or are feeling like a little Mexican alternative this week, check out Mexican Thanksgiving at Xochitl (408 S. Second St.), which is running from November 22 to 28 (save for Thanksgiving day, when they are closed). The family-style feast is $35 per person, and includes a starter of sweet potato and blue cheese guacamole; turkey breast with mole poblano; turkey leg and cornbread tamales; huitlacoche, chestnut and apple stuffing; collard greens with Chile de Arbol; and habanero cranberry sauce.  The feast concludes with coconut pie with quince jam.
