New eats at The Lola Bean

Fishtown's Lola Bean (1325 Frankford Ave.), hardcore contender for more adorable-est café in all the land, has steadily expanded its menu since opening a few months ago. Mainstays like the vegan veggie hummus wrap (above; spinach zucchini, squash, onion, sun-dried tomatoes, carrot, hummus) and their house bagel sandwich (above; hard-boiled egg, cheddar, arugula, fig spread, sea salt, pepper) have been joined by a grilled eggplant ciabatta sandwich, grab-and-go hummus platters, vegan cookies from North Port Fishington Cookie Co. and more. Argh, stop being so cute and healthy!

Lola Bean rules. Coffee is fabulous, pastries are out of this world, all the food is fresh and delicious. And the place is spotless. I love it.
