New menu on the way at World Cafe Livé

Michael Breslin, who came on as chef at World Café Live (3025 Walnut St.) in the fall, will be rolling out a brand-new menu in mid-March, but we've got a few teaser dishes for you after the jump.
Breslin, who's worked at spots like Wing Walker Pub in Feasterville, Tony Tomata's in Doylestown and Earl's Prime in Peddler's Village, has been easing into his new gig by cooking up menus for special events, like a Victory Brewing beer dinner in November, for which he prepared dishes like prosciutto-wrapped shrimp and scallops with vanilla bourbon butter.
- Pan-seared jumbo lump crab cake, set atop jicama slaw & topped with Julienne fried potatoes and spicy remoulade
- Chop Salad: Spinach & arugula tossed with mandarin oranges, candied pecans, craisens and feta cheese with cranberry orange vinaigrette
- Filet & Shrimp: Petite filet accompanied with jumbo shrimp scampi over garlic herb mash & arugula, roasted peppers and caramelized onions
I'm not holding my breath that the food will improve, but can they at least fix the service?
The last few times i have eaten there, the food and the service was atrocious. I was served a burger that was from a thin, frozen patty that in no way could have been cooked in any manner other than well done. Also, the roll was a cheap, dried out supermarket brand seeded white roll. All or the low price of $12. Before this, we were served a meal that did not include the advertised side. the waitress informed us the side was just a garnish and did not need to be included with the meal. When i emailed them my complaints for both of these issues, I got zero response.
