New winter menu at Fond

Fresh tans aren't the only souvenirs Lee Styer and Jessie Prawlucki have brought back from their week's vacation in Puerto Rico. The couple returned with a new winter menu for their BYOB, Fond (1617 E. Passyunk), too. “We sat on the beach with our notebooks, thinking out dishes,” says Prawlucki. When your envy subsides, check out the new line-up, which premiered last night, after the jump.

Appetizers

Beet and Fennel Cured Arctic Char - celery salad, trout roe, caraway - 12

Seared Foie Gras - tonka bean ricotta, baked apples, flaky pie crust - 16

Crispy Veal Sweetbreads - sweet and sour cabbage, creamy whole grain mustard - 12

Grilled Octopus Salad - caper aioli, frisee, grapefruit - 13

Celery Root Veloute - roasted mushrooms, truffle - 10

Seared Skate Wing - Meyer lemon risotto, edamame, soy brown butter - 25
