Back in November, we discussed plans for Shank's to roll out an open-air location down by the waterfront at Pier 40 (901 S. Columbus Blvd.). The expansion debuted this weekend � right now, the new guy's open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. check out the opening menu after the jump, and hit up Shanks' Web site to download a discount coupon good through March 2010.

Stopped by new Shank's Pier 40 on water and the chicken cutlet italiano was the best I ever had. Some familar and new faces behind the counter, cannot wait for outdoor seating planned in spring. I will be a regular for sure!
