Re: Philebrity Awards ... THANKS!

My cat Riley says THANKS FOR VOTING! It appears as though I have been chosen as "Phoodie of the Year" in the second annual Philebrity Awards. At the risk of sounding treacly, I just wanted to extend a sincere thanks to anyone who voted. I certainly wasn't expecting to be nominated in the first place, which makes winning all the more surprising and flattering. (That's not to say that CP wasn't guilty of a little promosexual activity!) Anyways, Team Meal Ticket - Adam Erace, plus our tireless interns Rachel Burgos, Anthony Sica and Juliana Reyes - works super hard on creating original content for this silly little blog, so it's really, really satisfying to hear that y'all enjoy reading it. And an XL shoutout to the other nominees, as well - Han Chiang from Han Dynasty, Marc Vetri, Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran, and Kate Carrara from the Buttercream cupcake truck. So thank you once more, and I'll try my damndest to live up to your "Phoodie of the Year" standards, whatever they may be - I'll buy you a drink, but I ain't buying you dinner. Cheers, and see y'all!
