H/T to Jess from Fries With That Shake for tipping us off to Sahara Indian Cuisine, a Northern Indian takeout/delivery joint aiming to open next week at 517 W. Girard (formerly a Crown Fried Chicken). Owner Raj Jaswal says the restaurant, which does not have an on-site dining room, will definitely cook crowd-pleasers like chicken tikka masala and lamb curry, but they'll also rock house specialties like "Chicken 65," fried chicken (shoutout to Crown!) done up in a special curry sauce. Girard's shaping up to be a bit of a vindaloo-soaked battleground, what with this new competitor pulling up stakes right down the block from both Tiffin and Ekta.

You most definitely have to check this place out! Not only is the food amazing but their prices are cheaper too! The other indian places don't even compare to this place, finally some great indian food!!
