Capogiro Blog
Every Wednesday, we poke around the food blog world to see what's simmering. - Capogiro's always-fun blog posted a charming hand-written list of things learned while working at the gelateria. Check it out in full. - Grub Street Philly has a sexy roundup of Philly's 29 best sandwiches, featuring photography by Mike Persico. - The Foodgitive checks in with a bold claim: That this is the best damn tiramisu recipe ever. Someone make it for us? - Former Philadelphian Oh Joy Eats uncovers an amazing-looking Montreal-style bagel in Brooklyn. What's a Montreal-style bagel? Does it say "oui" really weird? No! Read up! - Midtown Lunch survives the steam table at Hong Bo and leaves generally satisfied, despite the observation that it's "hard to identify what you are actually picking." - JG Domestic is the name of Jose Garces' slated-for-September project in the Cira Centre. The Insider has more.

Two thoughts:

1. Montreal bagels would be a good get for Philly.

2. JG Domestic sounds like a bad beer from Anheuser-Busch, as in "Woman, git me a JG Domestic before you polish my huntin boots."

that is all.
