Here we've got a look at the interior of Sonata, the 40-seat BYO chef Mark Tropea is opening on Liberties Walk this coming Tuesday. (Details here.) Above, catch a glimpse of the five-panel painting artist Lena Karpinsky created for the music-themed restaurant; after the jump. we've got a few food shots for you. (Click for full menu.)

What's what, in order:

  • Scallop crudo appetizer with preserved lemon, chives and vanilla salt
  • Pan-roasted organic chicken breast with Boursin-whipped mashed potatoes, asparagus and morel mushroom ragout
  • Sous/pastry chef Krystal Weaver's blueberry fig tart with creme fraiche cream and lemon ice cream

Great food. Very good staff. True professionals. You're off to a great start guys. 

We celebrated Emma's birthday there on Thursday, July 30. The tuna was out of this world and so was the "mac and cheese" version of chef Mark's.

The deserts were just magnificent.
