Attention Philly meat smokers: You've got a little over two weeks to sign up for 2010's A Full Plate Rib Cook-Off, scheduled for Sat., Sept. 11. The deadline to enter either the amateur or professional brackets for the competition, now in its fourth year, is Sat., Sept. 4. This year's cook-off, which'll be held at the always-lovely Liberty Lands Park at Third and Wildey, will precede a musical festival organized by the Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association. Head here for rules/regulations and entry forms if you think you've got the stones to place in the pork rib, chicken or vegetarian categories.
