Teri's (1126 S. Ninth St., 267-761-9154, terisdeli.com), the Italian Market eatery that was featured in Feeding Frenzy back in October, will open for dinner on Fri., Jan. 23. Hours: Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. on. Check out chef Davis Denick's menu at right (that scallop starter sounds excellent!). No reservations; it's BYO.

This Place was EXCELLENT. Its quality of meal in on the SAME level as any Steven Star restraunt we have been too, and the service was better. This place belongs in old city or Rittenhouse.

the food is on level with the best of Phila, but the place is an old Deli and that is the only thing that would detract the upper class looking for the best meal in PHILA

(and we eat at some VERY nice places, if the taste of your meal matters most, TRY THIS PLACE)

dinner at teri's is better than ever. we first went to it when they started serving, but summer in the market is the best time of year and the new dinenr menu delivers on that freshness. they are also open for brunch/lunch. we all live down there and the daytime on a weekend is like the old market. cool, not jsut a tourist spot for the bridge and tunnel crowd. if you want the real deal. this si the place to go.
