Today and today only, hit up any local Whole Foods location (2001 Pennsylvania Ave.; 929 South St.; 500 W. Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting) and you'll be able to buy pounds of 31/40 (or medium-size) shrimp for $5.99, 50 percent off the usual price. The market chain, which has dubbed the promo "Shrimpsgiving" (eee!), is kicking off the deal to promote its high standards in regards to responsibly sourced seafood, which Whole Foods acquires farm-raised by sustainably minded single producers.
