Tonight: Make it a late Thursday at Mixto with free mojitos and margaritas
Tonight, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., Mixto (1141 Pine St.) is throwing a little shindig to celebrate its new Thursday-to-Saturday late-night hours. Some sweet dealage going down from 10 to 11, too. Eric Henney has all the details for you in the latest edition of What's Cooking: Mixto recently extended its evening hours to 2 a.m. Thursday to Saturday, which is as good a reason as any to throw a party. From 10 to 11, come in to try something off the new late-night menu, which includes items like shrimp ceviche and empanadas, and wash it all down with free Cruzan mojitos and Sauza margaritas. From 11 to 2, they'll be spinning Latin jams and offering more than 20 varieties of margaritas and mojitos (mango, guava, sweet tea, etc.) for just $3 each.
