Tragedy in Northern Liberties

Police have confirmed the identity of a female found dead this morning on the 1200 block of Fourth Street in Northern Liberties, and it's tragic news for the local restaurant community. The Inquirer reports that Sabina Rose O'Donnell, an apparent victim of foul play, was discovered this morning. P.Y.T. owner Tommy Up confirms that O'Donnell was an employee; he is closing his Piazza restaurant this evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with O'Donnell's family, friends and coworkers. Closed for good? My thoughts are with the employee, her family, and the rest of the restaurant staff.

She was the darling of the Philadelphia Nightlife scene. She is loved and will never be forgotten. I only wish I had gotten to know her better. RIP
