Was leaving CP HQ yesterday evening and happened upon chef Tyson Wong Ophaso's Tyson Bees truck parked on the corner of Third and Market. Ophaso and his guys Cliff Asavadejpakdee and Jacky Li were in Old City to cater to the crowd checking out Yis "NoseGo" Goodwin's opening at Stupid Easy; Goodwin's the one who gave the Asian street food-dispensing truck that incredible paint job. We scarfed down a cheesy kimchi quesadilla, edamame tofu taco and pork banh mi with a gang of pickled veg before waving the white flag; though there will be some staples on the menu (it'll be tight — usually no more than 10 items), Ophaso anticipates keeping things fresh by switching up offerings on the regular. Tyson Bees' steady post-up is 33rd and Spruce, weekdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with weeknights and weekends reserved for roaming the city. They'll have a Twitter account up and running soon.
