Wednesday and Thursday goings-on at Pub & Kitchen

Two solid events of note going down this week at Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard St.) - tonight, drop by for chef Jonathan Adams' barbecue night, featuring a half-rack of ribs done up with P&K's house BBQ sauce, sides of coleslaw and Anson Mills grits and a pint of Troegs Sunshine Pils (it is summer, after all) for 17 bucks. Tomorrow, July 15, from 5:30 to 7:30, you can drop by for a local brews/bites happy hour benefitting The Food Trust. They'll be pouring Yards beers, and there'll be appetizer plates featuring locally sourced products - think tomato salad, scotch eggs and squash blossoms (people love squash blossoms!).
