When he's not winning awards, CP staff writer Isaiah Thompson is out eating somewhere. Here's a shot he took for a piece that'll appear in the City Paper food section this coming Thursday, Dec. 24. Squid and chicken heart on sticks, huh? Where do you think he went?
new skewer spot in chinatown? Solo was it?
Yakitori Boy?
Roland's got it it's Solo on 10th Street. Check out Isaiah's Small Bite in our upcoming issue for more info.
I hope Solo is a good Yakitori Boy alternative--I am kind of sick of YB.
went there with a couple friends who lived in china for a couple years each. they both were very pleased, especially with the lamb + tofu. ask for the non-sweetened version of some dishes (the chicken wings, im particular) if you want it less americanized.
