Greater G-Ho's Yello'bar reopened this past Friday after three days of renovations that have granted the Grays Ferry Avenue watering hole a heightened pub identity — they've changed the paint, darkened the windows and tossed out some of the booths in the front to make more room for bar patrons. It's funny — while some bars in this city try to scoop up mid-range and fine dining customers with poncy bells and whistles, these guys are taking it back to basics. Good cheap food (no sandwich over $8.99), good cheap beer. We approve.

Check out new chef Michael Mallough's simplified menu after the jump.
