- Drawing for Food's Hawk Krall debuts two new local entries into his hog dog drawing pantheon, including the dirty water dog. "I don't know if Philly Dirty Water Dog is really a regional style," writes Hawk, "but you know what I'm talking about." Yeah we do!
- Center City hotel seer The Illadelph shares that the restaurant in the 10 Rittenhouse condos will be located on the corner of 18th and Sansom. So who's going in? Mike Klein says Serafina and Todd English are in talks, but Illadelph points out that Stephen Starr's a possibility, as well.
- Did you know there's a mile-long stretch in Newtown Square that features multiple delish pork sandwich options? Us neither. Main Line Dine has a primer on what to order and where.

- Cookbook author, chef and food writer: Lari Robling's resume is bulletproof. All the more reason to listen to her tout the kid-and-wallet-friendly choices at the IKEA cafeteria in Friday's Inquirer.
- Blogalicious is excited to report that Elevation Burger's grass-fed, organic beefiness will be coming to Walnut Street. Dan Marino, GM of the Wynnewood Elevation,won't give up the precise address, but look for the Oreo shakes and olive-oil fries to hit town in 6 to 8 months.
- Seen Through A Glass writer Lew Bryson notes that year-to-date imported beer sales are down 9.3 percent. Seems like as drinkers walk away from more expensive foreign beers, they tend to veer straight into the American craft aisle.
