Kenzinger, Philadelphia Brewing Co.'s popular and ubiquitous flagship ale, now has a slick little TV commercial courtesy of local filmmakers Peter Heacock and Woody Pase. The duo, who wrote, directed, shot and edited the spot themselves, rolled camera at various locations around Philly (the bar is Johnny Brenda's) in late March. Look for the ad on television soon. And if that 30 seconds wasn't enough for you, there's also a behind-the-scenes/blooper reel on PBC's YouTube channel.

Love this video -- so elegant. Both chefs have a wonderfully engaging camera presence, and Chef Ige's food sounds delicious. Monkfish liver is awesome. Well done, Neal!

Our Dec. 6 post revealing the Four Loko tasting menu Adsum chef Matt Levin served this past Monday night has been the most-viewed post here on Meal Ticket for more than a week people really love reading/talking about the Loko! This includes CNN's Eatocracy blog, which put together this video feature on the event. (Shoutout to interviewee Brian, aka The Skinny Fat Kid. He did a two-part recap of the evening.) Both Levin and Adsum owner Kar Vivekananthan have hinted that there might be a Loko stockpile somewhere deep in the bowels of the restaurant. Maybe if you ask nice?

CP's own Neal Santos recently put together this video highlighting chef Brinn Sinnott and his dinners based around goodness grown on the rooftop of Noble (2025 Sansom St.). Want in the fun? Co-owner Todd Rodgers checks in with word that there are four seats remaining for August's dinner, scheduled for this Thursday, Aug. 26. The seats can be booked individually or as a group; the dinner is five courses, $55 a head, and cocktail/wine/beer pairing is available for an additional $20. Full menu (verjus-peppermint sorbet? chrared wax beans? nice!) after the jump.
