There's quite a few bakeries in Chinatown so you gotta know your stuff to get this one! Let's hear it in the comments.

The Arrow Swim Club (1031 Germantown Ave.) is slated to open in Northern Liberties this summer, and they've just finalized their menu. The members only swim spot will offer fare like flatbreads (with mushrooms, goat cheese, onion and thyme; mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil; or mozzarella, garlic and arugula), a variety of burgers (including falafel-veggie, tuna, turkey, and beef  and a few salads. Everything is reasonably priced between 7$ and $12 per dish, but just know that's a cost that only comes into consideration after you've paid the $1000-per-season membership fee. Take a peek at the whole thing below (click to enlarge).

Almost a year after we brought news of its beer garden, Memphis Taproom (2331 E. Cumberland St.) is ready to debut its outdoor drinking space in the lot adjacent the craft beer-lovin' pub. This Saturday, April 23, marks Memphis' third anniversary, as well as the gated garden's grand opening. The lights are strung, the raw-wood picnic tables set and the mint Memphis Taproom lunch truck is ready to roll out 10 different hot dogs (plus the famous fried dill pickles) from chef Jesse Kimball.

Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard St.) is celebrating its advancement to the final round of the Best of Philly Burger Bracket with a kickin'-sounding happy hour this evening. After knocking Good Dog and Standard Tap out of the running, P&K is going to head-to-head with Village Whiskey's fabled Whiskey King burger. Pub & Kitchen fans will be treated to complimentary Churchill Sliders — mini versions of the signature beast (above) Jonathan Adams rolled out in October — as well as $1 oysters and $3 P&K/Sixpoint Middleton ales between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m.

Sorry to drag our feet on this one a bit (blame it on the arduous task of visual digestion): The winner of 2011's Scrapplefest, held late last month at Reading Terminal Market, was Molly Malloy's, which put together this glorious, sunny egg-topped stack of crispy scrapple rounds and brioche. If the name is unfamiliar: That's what Vinnie and Jimmie Iovine of Iovine Bros. Produce are calling their takeover of the Terminal's still-operating beer garden. Right now they're awaiting transfer of the liquor license, so no construction has commenced just yet, but we do know that Bobby Fisher, who cooked for Iovine's former catering business (they've since sold it) will be the chef at Molly's (named for the Iovine's mother). He'll put together a menu to complement a selection of local brews at the gastropub, which is expected to open in in mid to late summer.

Hey nice! The outdoor deck at Biba (3131 Walnut St.) that Meal Ticket told you about in March is all ready to go. The outdoor area, made of pretty Mayan teak, can seat up to one dozen attractively windblown guests.

Just heard from Matt Swartz, who just opened Farmers' Cabinet at 1113 Walnut with partners Colleen Swartz (his wife) and Matt Scheller, regarding the status of the team's East Falls beer bar Fork & Barrel (4213 Ridge Ave.) — which has been rumored to be closing — as well as their Emmaus gastropub, Tap & Table. Check out Swartz's full statement, in which he addresses the future of both venues, after the jump.

Yesterday, Moore College of Art & Design (20th and the Parkway) kicked off a venture into the outdoor eatery game with the new Diamond Cafe, where they'll be offering up classic midday fare: salads, sandwiches, desserts and bevvies. They'll be doing their thing outside the entrance to the school from now until June, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In addition to the Diamond, Moore and SAGE Dining Services (their dining hall supplier) are also taking an intrepid stab at sustainable urban micro-farming, with a new on-campus herb garden currently incubating in a recycled old salad bar cart. The garden will, eventually, add lots of fresh goodness to the dining hall's menu, and SAGE also plans on expanding the garden into the courtyard to house tomatoes, cucumbers and other veggies. OK, any Moore students out there who can tell us if we're missing out on some choice dining hall goods? And, if so, are you willing to sneak us some contraband?

The annual Dining Out For Life fundraiser is coming up on Thursday, April 28. For one night only, participating restaurants will donate one-third of the cost of your meal to ActionAIDS, the Philadelphia-based organization committed to providing essential services for men, women and children affected by HIV and AIDS. Also keep the "20% Off Tuesday" deal in mind — any diners who make a donation of $25 or greater during their dinner will earn the the privilege of knocking 20 percent off their bill at certain DofL restaurants on Tuesday nights for the rest of the year. (This offer cannot be used on holidays or in conjunction with any other promotions.) The list of participating spots is enormous (and includes such Meal Ticket faves as Barbuzzo, Bistrot La Minette, Cochon, James, Koo Zee Doo and Zahav), so check out the full rundown here and make your reservations ASAP.
