Get up-to-the-minute information via Facebook on NorthPortFishington Cookie Factory's daily whereabouts, what he has in stock for the day, or just use it to say what's up. - Just discovered Philly Beeraholic shared this Philly beer map that helps you find where to drink throughout the city. Right click, bookmark, save. - PhillyFoodie shares her battle with apricots, and comes out a winner with a cowboy cake, including a recipe, photos and tips on how to make your own. Yeehaw! - A voyeuristic glimpse into one man's finds, Robert's Market Report is a great way to vibe out which local farmers market you're thinking of heading to if you've never been, including this post recapping his HeadHouse Square summer picks. His colorful photos make me wanna dive into a barrel of seasonal fruit and veggies.

I definitely want some alone time with this poached egg on toast. - Beer Lass sends out some lobster love, informing us of where to get it, what to order and how much it'll run you. My mouth is already watering. - If you are more of a visual learner, peep this video recipe for some tasty-looking corn chowder, provided by 22nd & Philly. The ladies added extra bacon to their version, which I am 1,000 percent OK with. - Di Bruno Brothers' blog The Queso Files shares their cheesy choices to pair with beers from King of Prussia's Rock Bottom Brewery. - Not sure what to do with that gorgeous rhubarb you grabbed at the farmers market (ahem, me)? Here is a simple, lovely recipe shared by Straight from the Farm for roasted rhubarb and cream. Drawing for Food continues their artist series with an interview featuring Martha Rich. They fire out pics of all their latest wares, like these local apricots. - Working at Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn must be sweet. Their daily homemade lunches using local (rooftop!) ingredients is a wonderful idea, and the photos are making my mouth water. - Viva la Fête Nationale! According to Grub Street, Paloma is hosting The Vidoccq Society (our favorite crime-fighting, French- loving forensic specialists) on Bastille Day. Soon after it will open to the public, serving Mexican-French Cuisine at Eighth and Catharine. - Memphis Taproom's Mystery Beer Weekend is no longer. Apparently it was as illegal as it was fun. RIP ... you will be missed. - Emily Callaghan of Table Matters does an extensive interview with man/myth/legend Craig LaBan. - Urban Vegan shares her vegan take on the classic caprese sandwich. Yum. Just because Roy's closed doesn't mean toss that gift certificate, advises The Insider use it to buy a bloomin' onion instead.

Every Wednesday, Meal Ticket pokes around the food blog world to see what's simmering. - Manneken Eats checks out an inspired omakase meal conceived by chef Todd Dae Kulper at Ro-Zu — and laments the talent's departure from the Japanese BYO. Lucky for us, this won't be the last we see of the chef. In an email to Meal Ticket, Kulper shares that he's working on a new project — one that "will definitely fill a major void in the Philadelphia market" — but doesn't have much to share other than that at this time. We'll keep you posted. - Definitely peep CNN's new multi-faceted food blog, Eatocracy. - Suzy "Beer Lass" Woods shares news that Steve Poses' Frog Burger, on the front lawn of the Franklin Institute, will start an every-Thursday happy hour tomorrow, June 24. First featured artist is Rob Sato, who puts together food-related work like the whimsical "Satobites" above. - Eater discusses a controversial McDonald's ad, aired in France, that features a gay teenage boy. McD's COO is backpedaling faster than the spinning turrets on a McFlurry mixer, but we're mostly curious about the music. Is this a fast food commercial or a deleted scene from The Virgin Suicides? - The Rowhouse is back blogging, sharing two recipes for cheesecake shooters. As far as I could tell, Food Rulez mentioned he would eventually picked a favorite but right now is getting "the lay of the land," including Philly Cupcake.  I love cupcakes, so I look forward to a real announcement from his research.

Like this Dita Von Teese-branded Perrier, which is dropping this summer and will cost 2.65 Euros per six-pack. By our calculations that is roughly $9,000 American. Our math is definitely right. - Midtown Lunch ditches its usual frugal $10 ceiling to splurge on lunch at Fork, and leaves charmed by the "tapas" starters (above), softshell crab sandwich and beef stronganoff. - Stephen Starr's on a bit of a R-Ho tear — less than a month after opening El Rey on Chestnut, just outside the park, he's signed on to open a gastropub on the corner of 18th and Sansom. The Insider has the Xs and Os. - PJs and Coffee peeks its head into El Limon, an upcomng taqueria in Conshohocken that'll apparently offer free (?!) margaritas. - Marisa of Food in Jars discusses the etiquette of returning (or not returning) her beloved vessels — when you give the gift of jam to a friend, is said friend required to bring the jar back? - Apples and Cheese, Please visits the Top Chef tour stop in Philly to check out demos from the "darling petite chef team" of Jamie Lauren and Nikki Cascone.
