Monday, Nov. 8 Chef Jim Coleman (of TV/radio fame) has taken over cooking duties at World Café Live. Grab grub from Chris' Taco Stand, a brand-new street food operation on Temple's campus. Another cupcake truck is hitting the Philly streets — Sweets by Samantha will roll out next month. Notes from the Weekend features cosmic cauliflower, deadly liquors, cutthroat soup swapping and more. Bebe's BBQ dude Mark Coates comes on as the chef at Fergie's Pub. Tuesday, Nov. 9 The Khyber Pass Pub, as Old City's Khyber is now known, is officially open for chicken-fried business y'all. Krispy Kreme makes a triumphant return to Philly in the form of a new Fox Chase franchise. In honor of National Scrapple Day, Juliana Reyes tests out chef Carmen Cappello's homemade version at Wishing Well. Salt & Pepper is officially on its way to Passyunk, and Little Fish is coming back in its place. Wednesday, Nov. 10 We've got pics and info on Granite Hill, Stephen Starr's Philadelphia Museum of Art project. The brand-new Village Belle is a sweet addition to south of South. Monday, Nov. 1 West Philly's Melange Tea Cart reopens after a crash. Tripe stew and many other diversions in Notes from the Weekend. Tuesday, Nov. 2 The Ranstead Room has debuted a brand-new cocktail menu. Philadelphia Bar & Restaurant, aka PBR, is running a special prix-fixe deal through this week. The Khyber is coming back as a new concept ... called Khyber Pass Pub. What does that mean? Wednesday, Nov. 3 The boys at Jake's Sandwich Board are rocking turducken sandwiches for the holiday season. Juliana Reyes sets her Weekly Candy sights on the crunchy and adorable Hello Panda. Thursday, Nov. 4 Fork & Barrel unveils its new, separate-concept upstairs space and plans a bunch of sweet events. Foobooz releases its latest Top 50 Philly bars list. And it's making people mad! Awesome-blossom bartender Phoebe Esmon lands a new gig at Catahoula and launches a new drinks list. Friday, Nov. 5 Mike Stollenwerk's Fathom Seafood House should be opening soon — check out the opening menu. There's a new dessert menu at Fond, and it sounds freaking amazing. There's a new line of liquor getting distilled right in South Philly, and it'll be hitting PLCB shelves soon. Saturday, Nov. 6 Here's the South-in-yo-mouth menu for the new Khyber Pass Pub. Big news for Modo Mio's Peter McAndrews — he'll move his smash-hit sandwich spot Paesano's to make room for a new Sicilian restaurant.

Wednesday, Oct. 13 Sidecar chef Brian Lofink moves into an identical role at sister bar Kraftwork. Chestnut Hill's Night Kitchen Bakery grows in size and adds a café lunch menu. In part one of Adam Erace's three-part battle with a 20-pound watermelon, our food critic makes (and shares the recipe for) aguas frescas. Airy's InFusion hits the market. Tuesday, Sept. 28 It's Sichuan peppercorn-flavored sorbet time in part two of Adam Erace's 20-pound watermelon battle. The Food Trust's first night market, originally scheduled for Sept. 30, is rescheduled for Oct. 7. Rachel Burgos checks out the hard-shell crab deal at Oyster House. Wednesday, Sept. 29 Get a sneak peek of the upcoming American Blackboard by snagging tix to this Oct. 23 Spinal Tapas dinner.
