Did Homeland Security help devise Occupy strategies?

POSTED: Thursday, November 17, 2011, 12:15 PM

The nationwide crackdown on Occupy just might have come from the top down, CP's Daniel Denvir noted on Salon this morning. FBI, Homeland Security and other federal authorities reportedly have been advising municipalities on how to make tent cities disappear. "According to this official, in several recent conference calls and briefings, local police agencies were advised to seek a legal reason to evict residents of tent cities, focusing on zoning laws and existing curfew rules," the original report noted.
