POSTED: Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 3:51 PM

Here's what's on tap for Oct. 19.

Zoning

-The ZBA meets tomorrow afternoon, including on the contentious plan to build over the “Autumn” mural at Ninth and Bainbridge streets. Here are the details.

-South of South Neighborhood Association has a zoning meeting on Toll Bros. proposed demolition of existing garage and erection of a condo tower along 24th Street with two-over-two town houses behind, between Bainbridge and South streets. It should be eventful.

-East Falls’ neighborhood zoning committee eyes a Sunoco station expansion.

Preservation

-Gray Area: Provocations on the Future of Preservation, a symposium on preservation and development in Philadelphia. 5:30 p.m. at the Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch St., free (but there’s a wait list to register)

Government

-City Commissioners meeting, 11 a.m. at City Hall, Room 130

-Doing Business with the Commonwealth: Government Contracting: Learn how your small business can pursue contract opportunities with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 6 p.m. at University of the Arts, Terra Building, Connelly AWhWhatuditorium (8th floor), 211 S. Broad St., free.
