All the juicy news you'll miss if you don't pick up today's paper.

- Was July 7's Ride the Ducks accident preventable? Ex-employees, who called the company's safety standards "abysmal," think it might have been.

- A Million Stories makes the link between a stank-ass house we first told you about last October, and the Inquirer's recent piece on the PSPCA finding 50 Chihuahuas in that same house in a raid last week; also, did you know $2 million of the state's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program dollars are going to Antrim Township for, uh, the state doesn't know exactly what yet?

- In his Soapboxer column, Jeff Billman examines how, despite the fact that we're three months into the country's worst environmental catastrophe, NASA is reporting that the first six months of 2010 were the hottest on record, aaand "Climategate" has long been debunked, Dems are still sucking it at putting together a decent energy bill.

- In the first ManOverboard! column in City Paper founder Bruce Schimmel's old spot, Isaiah Thompson pays homage to his predecessor with a story about bees.

- E. James Beale hates on soccer some more, just to drive y'all mad. Just kidding! He looks at the 76ers drafting Evan Turner.
