You lookin' at me?

Ice Cubes are all the juicy details A.D. Amorosi couldn't cram into Icepack. Read on to get yer gossip on.

By now, you know all about how Germantown-ians booed – really booed – Mayor Nutter during yesterday's "Moving America Forward" rally. And how President Obama had a streaker to dash balls-out through the crowd. No respect I tell you. But did you know that Joe Biden does a good Robert DeNiro “you looking at me?” impersonation (above) or that Dem rep Bob Brady (there, along with Joe Sestak, Sen. Bob Casey Jr., Gov. Rendell; and Mayor Nutter) looks solid in Phillies print (after the jump)? My man, photog Scott Weiner kept the proof. Loogout for more WHOWHATWHERE stuff when Ice and Ice Illustrated hit on Thursday.

When I Icepacked my bit about the J&J Trestle Inn closing (339 N. 11th St.) I didn't think I'd get any feedback. It was a sweet, sweet dive-bar hangout for peeps who worked in the neighborhood (as I did backinaday), guys who lived down the as-yet-to-get-gentrified block and the flashy ladies who loved them. Suddenly I got a few calls from old pals who also worked in the area and would go to tipple a few.

A little more digging into who else might've loved the old J&J, a phone call from a source that said the Trestle had found a buyer I might know and a tip that Foobooz had run something on my original mention (thanks ya) led me to THIS photo.

Eureka. The Mad Decent Mausoleum is down the street. Diplo's got to be tired of wiping down coaster rings from his studio console. What better hang for he, Switch and his minion. I haven't chatted with Wes Pentz yet. But this is a nice sign. I'll probably find myself back in my old neighborhood drinking Johnnie Walker Black sooner than I thought. Here's hoping.

Correction: An earlier version of this article declared Valerie Navarro the winner of the Big Bang championship. The winner was actually Ginelle Ophelia. City Paper regrets the error.

Glassman with Damon Feldman

We love Damon Feldman.

Sure, he promotes some wack matches at the airport Ramada and gets guys like Jose Canseco and Danny Bonaduce into the ring. And yes, he convinced respected members of the local boxing scene to be in on his Celebrity Boxing Federation — even its female division's Big Bang event (during Celebrity Boxing 15 on Dec. 18) which was fascinating for its big burly guys watching over gals wearing tiny lingerie panties with the words "Smack That" on ’em.

But Feldman has heart and he has guts. And he knows how to fill a room with folk who crave this level of entertainment. And entertaining it is. I've asked people, in the name of God and art, to do some bizarre things. But I've never asked women to wear gi-hugic boxing gloves and slug it out, like Feldman's CBF femme division championship did — all with guest referee Hailey Glassman in her Ed Hardy best ringside.

Anyone keeping tabs (and you can just check Icepack Dec 24 for a primer) she's the woman that Jon Gosselin was keeping company with until recently when he tried to reunite with his wife (now TOTALLY divorced) and Glassman has gone on record (WHAT RECORD) calling Jon a stalker. Then again, depending on what tabs you keep and what gossip rags and blogs you sneak peaks at, Glassman and Gosselin either still live together. Or they don't. Or she's rumored to have a male admirer in Feldman himself who may have been caught in an embrace with Glassman which supposedly got Gosselin mad — maybe mad enough to shoot off guns at his Pennsylvania homestead or call her at the Ramada Inn. See how it works?

This is what Feldman feeds into — the enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in bacon.

Anyway, girls fought with big gloves on. Glassman got into a tussle with one of the boxing gals — the singularly named "Cassie" — hit the mat with the two fighters then called the boxer out for a future match. (Yes... you heard the crowd going "Ooooooh, catfight"). And by the end of it all a girl named Valerie Navarro Ginelle Ophelia wore the big gloves proudly to become the Big Bang female division's first champeeeeeeeeeeeeen. Rocky Marciano might not be smiling up in the heavens, but you gotta start somewhere.

More pics after the jump.

Take my money, please!

It would be easy to say that Diddy showed up this morning to visit Chio from Wired 96.5 FM’s morning show, live from the Wachovia Center because the hype regarding his 2010 release Last Train to Paris is on and he’s set to ramp it up big time.

He hyped it. But he’s saving the big drama for the dance floor of mur.mur tonight. This morning though, Diddy was in town as part of Chio’s toy drive and Christmas Wish charity, the one the radio maven started in 1998 to help families with financial and physical needs during the holidays.

Well, here’s where Diddy won the good guy challenge. As Chio and the radio station were readying to give the recipient of the Chio charity — Sarah Costello — a check for $1,000, Diddy whipped out a pen, wrote on the check, and tacked on another $10,000. Then he posed with the two girls from Dirty Money — his co-contributors to his new Paris CD, and he was off. You win this round, Diddy.

Check out Icepack this Thursday for more un-Didd-ly sightings.

This is not a promotional shot of the new Mickey and Mallory a la Natural Born Killers II: Peyote Buttons. Or a goofy sequel to What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Or even a slacker version of Cape Fear. This is Juliette Lewis having a pow wow with Jackass Bam Margera before her show at his club, West Chester’s The Note, last night. My good friend Scott Weiner snapped the shot. The place didn’t sell out sadly — Lewis is always a sweat inducing heart racing thrill — yet everyone was all smiles anyhoo.

Always be on the look-out for your less-than-usual celeb sightings at Icepack online.

Dear Juliette Lewis,

First, sweet gear. Secondly I think that you are actually talented, with that said please stop hanging out with people who have used MTV as a tool to annoy an entire country. Can we please just let Bam Margera get fat and old in West Chester and finally forget that at some point we may have thought that he was cool?

In the last three days, I’ve received several tips regarding in-towner Reese Witherspoon that seem to reflect some form of worry. Oh, my tipsters aren’t soooooo concerned that this film that James L. Brooks is lensing will never seem to get a name no matter how much we kvetch. And no, they don’t think the likes of Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson have abandoned Rittenhouse Square for Washington West. No, my readers concerns went deeper – kinda – and seemed to be about Reese’s weight and dating options.

The first one who spied Witherspoon and the ubiquitous Paul Rudd at Morimoto after filming throughout the night at Union Trust, seem more driven to comment how the duo have been spending lots of drinking and supping time together – and not in front of the camera. May I assure you, that though this is how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie probably got together during Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I highly doubt that Jake Gyllenhaal has anything to worry about. The other spy caught Witherspoon right after she lunched at Jones. The concern there was that she looked extremely thin and wasn’t dressed "appropriately.” After all that eating at Union Trust and Morimoto – to say nothing of all that chow at El Vez, Parc and Alma de Cuba, how much more do you want this poor girl to eat?

Back off clowns.

Don't understand the confusion here about Witherspoon's food consumption and her svelte figure. Could it be that a gal can go out to eat at great restaurants and still be thin and fit? Everyone knows that cool people order sashimi at japanese restaurants (not like a dork like me who gets the tempura noodles or teriyaki) and that parc and alma and even jones offer fish and salads at those places too. Not to mention she has a hot boyfriend who also seems really cool and and smart, and her co-workers are Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Jack Nicholson. Imagine how cool it would be to go to the office everyday to work with Paul Rudd? The woman has AN AWESOME LIFE -- that right there burns TONS of calories.

My son Tom Walton, who just fought on the fight card with Rodney King at the RomadA. hE IS IN THE MOVIE WITH rEESE wITHERSPOON AND DID A DANCE BIT WITH HER. sHE IS A VERY pETITE GIRL. vERY FRIENDLY. She treated all the extras to lunch. Also my brother, Sgt. Mike Walton of the Philly Highway Police Dept., guarded her when she went to the Elton John- Billy Joel concert. He had to stand right next to her the whole time. Very, very pleasant, down to earth. Very casual dresser. My son Tom in the movie is a ball player with Owen Wilson and they go to all these partys together in the movie.
