Local 44 Bottle Shop | Brendan Hartranft and Leigh Maida have opened a bottle shop attached to their West Philly beer bar, Local 44. Stocking more than 500 varieties of beer in the cold case, the owners have also dedicated a section to rarity-hunting beer geeks, with shelving units stocked with high-end large-format bottles. There are a few seats available in the space to sit around and crack open your purchases, or enjoy a pour off L44's beer engine, which is routed over to this side of the space for your enjoyment. The bottle shop is open Sunday to Thursday from noon to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon to midnight. More on Meal Ticket. 4333 Spruce St., 215-222-CANS, local44beerbar.com.
