
BigBite's Philly Chili Bowl

The BigBite food-competition collective is presenting its third annual Philly Chili Bowl at the Fleisher Art Memorial. Spectators will have the opportunity to sample 20 different chilis, sip on Narragansett beer and cast a vote in the "People's Choice" category. Entrants will be judged by a panel featuring CP's own Drew Lazor, Di Bruno's Emilio Mignucci, Joe Bernstein of the Peoples Republic food cart, Lily Cope of Cook and chef Kevin Sbraga of Sbraga. Philly Craft Beer Festival

The Committee to Benefit the Children is hosting the sixth annual Craft Beer Festival at the Philadelphia Navy Yard this year — attendees will be able to sample more than 100 beers from 50-plus international breweries. General admission is sold out, but VIP is still available; those tickets get you eight beers exclusive to VIP ticket holders, including Old Forge Ol' Smithy Winter Ale, Clown Shoes Hoppy Feet 1.5 and Ballast Point Sea Monster. A Play, A Pie and A Pint

Tiny Dynamite Productions is kicking off its second season of "A Play, A Pie and A Pint" with Being Norwegian by David Greig. PPP performs a new show (all comedies this time) each week of its four-week run at the Red Room at the Society Hill Playhouse. With the purchase of a ticket, theatergoers get admission to the show, a slice of pizza and a beverage. Those who attend all four shows will earn a free PPP beer glass. Society Hill Playhouse, 507 S. Allagash Beer Dinner at Chifa

Jose Garces' Peruvian restaurant is hosting a meal with Allagash. Chef Natalie Maronski has created a menu that complements the Portland, Maine-based brewery's offerings — dishes include lobster roll bao bun and duck confit rice dumpling paired with Saison Mihm and braised lamb shank paired with Allagash Black. Random Tea Room's Four-Year Anniversary

In honor of Random Tea Room's four years of existence, they're throwing a party with food from their soon-to-be-expanded menu and tea-infused cocktails.
