If the straight up, dry, two olives, "shaken-not-stirred" gin
martini is generally recognized as the James Bond, then Rococo's
Starburst martini is the Bond Girl: all decked out in pink, lovely
to look at, sweet but deceptively strong. Topped with a rim of melted Starburst candies, this slightly fruity
(but not too sugary) concoction is delectable. Remember, the reason 007 lasted through several generations of
Bond vixens is because he knew never to take too many of them
at once: the prettiest and sweetest girls were always the most
dangerous. Consider yourself warned. Rococo Starburst 1 to 1 1/2 ounces (or 3 count) Absolut Citron, splash of following:
Shake very well and serve in chilled martini glass with star fruit
(cut your own or buy them at Fresh Fields). For maximum effect,
melt all three flavors of Starburst candies in a saucepan, dip
the rim of the martini glass in the warm candy and chill. Rococo, 123 Chestnut St, 629-1100. - Elva Ramirez
