Acknowledging an interesting wine phenomenon, David Katz of Mémé is hosting a wine dinner highlighting French varietals grown in Italian soil. Importer Federico Dall'Olmo of the Artisan's Cellar will be on hand to discuss the particulars of each vino — four in total, each of which will be paired with a savory course from Katz (grilled lamb chops with kale, quail with polenta, pasta with guanciale and scallop crudo). A Week of Earth Day at Davio's

Earth Day has passed, but Davio's is offering a special menu for the remainder of this week. The springy four-courser features branzino with white asparagus, trumpet mushrooms and mussel jus; heirloom tomato salad with grilled spring onions and baby basil; and a special "dirt" dessert.
