Megan Biscieglia’s got a voice like a sleep-deprived Appalachian angel. It’s heavenly high and earthily robust, but there’s also an unfakeable weariness to it — a strain here, a whispering trail-off there — that gives Philly folkies Bad Braids their edge. Lovely. If you can’t catch this headlining gig, see them open for Cold Specks at the First Unitarian Church’s Side Chapel this Friday.
