He doesn't have a new album to flog, but that isn't stopping Neil Diamond — pop tunesmith, confessional songwriter and high-energy showman — from doing what made him famous. It's been 44 years since he released the first of many, many greatest hits compilations, and Diamond's recent setlists are filled with '60s sing-alongs ("Cherry, Cherry," "Red, Red Wine," "Sweet Caroline") and '70s schmaltz ("You Don't Bring Me Flowers"), plus a few highlights from 1980's The Jazz Singer ("America," "Hello Again"). But if you're more into Diamond's later output, be warned: He's bringing out just one song from his pair of Rick Rubin-assisted comebacks and completely ignoring all the covers records he released in the post-hit years.

Mon., June 18, 8 p.m., $55-$120, Wells Fargo Center, 3601 S. Broad St., 800-298-4200, comcasttix.com.
