A joint venture with girlfriend Heather Annechiarico, Hawthornes is part bottle shop (more than 1,000 picks for your mix-a-six needs), part café (panini, grilled cheese, cheese plates, salads, etc.) and part bruncherie (served 8 to 3 Friday to Sunday). Perhaps the coolest feature in the space (BVBD\'s original home) is a custom gizmo that allows Fetfatzes to pressure-fill 64-ounce growlers (above) with hard-to-find craft beers — think choices from cult-following breweries like Russian River and Lost Abbey.
